How the IC works

Five steps.
One honest verdict.

01

Submit

Upload deck, PPM, operating agreement, and financial model. Paid up front.

02

The IC classifies

Your offering is routed to one of 54 offering-type rubrics by capital position, structure, asset class, and strategy. Strategy is set by the math, not the marketing label.

03

The IC underwrites

28 to 37 parameters in 5 dimensions for your offering type, benchmarked against $30B+ in anonymized real LP data, with SEC, FINRA, court, and web background checks.

04

You get the verdict

Full IC memo with strengths, gaps, and a single number from 1 to 5. AI-assisted, human-reviewed.

05

If you score 4+

Your offering enters The Shortlist, surfaced to our 12,568 HNW investor list, and you become eligible to pitch live on a Vyzer Weekly call.

What 4+ unlocks

A score, then
a real audience.

12,568

The Shortlist

Inclusion in a curated database surfaced to 12,568 accredited investors who actively allocate to private offerings.

Live

Webinar slot

Eligibility for a dedicated webinar to our LP audience. Separate upsell, not bundled into the IC review.

4+

Public credibility

A third-party score from an LP-aligned IC. Not a paid promotion, not a sponsored placement.

Why this isn't pay-to-play

Submission buys the IC verdict. Not the audience.

Distribution is earned by scoring 4+. We publish the verdict either way. If your offering underperforms, you get the IC memo and the diagnostic, not the audience.

That's the point. Our LPs trust The Shortlist because we don't dilute it.

Questions.

What if my offering doesn't score 4+?

You keep the IC verdict and memo. We don't distribute it. No refund. The diagnostic is the value, and you can act on it. See exactly how we score →

What if you don't have a rubric for my offering type?

The IC has 54 offering-type rubrics across real estate, operating companies, crypto, natural resources, and infrastructure. Coverage skews to real estate equity. If your offering classifies into an offering type we don't yet support (some crypto strategies, mining, timber, midstream, infrastructure single-asset, operating-company debt), classification flags it before review. We'd rather tell you we can't score it than give you a generic answer. See the full coverage matrix →

What does it cost?

$497 flat per submission. Paid up front. No subscription. The fee covers the IC review, the memo, the background checks, and the optional walkthrough call. No additional fee if you score 4+ and your offering is featured to The Shortlist.

Is this a paid placement?

No. The Shortlist is curated by score, not by payment. The $497 is the cost of the IC review, not the placement.

Who sees the IC verdict?

You and Vyzer. We only share aggregate or 4+ offering summaries with our LP list, with your opt-in.

What documents does the IC need?

Pitch deck, PPM, operating agreement, financial model. Add anything else relevant (track record, sponsor bios, market data).

How long does it take?

Up to 48 hours from submission to verdict, including the distribution decision. The IC uses AI heavily to do the underwrite, but a human analyst reviews every memo before it ships and before any offering goes into The Shortlist.

Who are the 12,568 LPs?

Accredited high-net-worth investors using Vyzer to track and allocate across private offerings. We surface The Shortlist to them through the product and our weekly newsletter.

I'm an LP, not a GP. Can I run an offering I was pitched past the IC?

Yes. Submit the offering yourself, privately. You get the same IC verdict and memo. Your GP doesn't have to know. Or send this page to your GP and ask them to submit, which gives both of you the same shareable verdict and a path to The Shortlist.
